Book Club

Join us on Monday, September 27, at 7:00 PM in the church   library to discuss Loving Frank, the story of Mamah Borthwick Cheney and her love affair with the brilliant and controversial architect Frank Lloyd Wright.  Author Nancy Horan skillfully blends fact and fiction in this captivating tale that portrays the shocking affair that flourished from 1907 to 1914 between the two married people, each of whom had children.  The story is based in Oak Park, IL and brings to light the profound influence that Cheney had on Wright.

We are currently in the process of choosing books for next year.  Please turn in your recommendations to Barb Pourch as early as possible but no later than the September meeting.  She also has copies available of the Guidelines for Book Selections for anyone who needs one.

The remaining two books on the 2010 schedule are listed here.  The group does not meet in December.
