Pop Tops/Campbell's LabelsMinimize

Keep collecting
the Pop Tops & Campbell's labels/Box Tops!

Currently, our Campbell's labels/box tops have helped the Navajo Evangelical Lutheran Mission to receive another much needed vehicle! Keep 'em coming!

Also, please remember that Campbell's has gone to UPC's! If you do have any with just the front label, please turn them into Mary Lou Larson as soon as possible. Campbell's has agreed to accept these for a short time.

These pop tops help support the Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House provides a "home away from home" for families whose children are seriously ill and many more programs. Find out more about the Ronald McDonald House and its programs.

Women of Peace

New Project - Marklund has asked us to collect very good, used clothing, coats, and small household items for their resale shop. Marklund will pick up the items so we will not have to worry about delivery. More information will follow in the October newsletter. Please put things aside now that are in good condition.

School Supplies - in August we once again collected school supplies for one of the grade or middle schools in Addison School District #8.  Our supplies this year benefitted the Ardmore School, grades K thru 5.  Thank you to the entire congregation for their generous donations. Thank you, also, to Pat Bugielski for organizing this worthy outreach project.

Book Exchange - Many of us are avid readers and share our books with other members. Take a look at what's in the basket and in the bookcase. There are magazines as well; Good Housekeeping, Real Simple and Women's Day.  There are several books by John Grisholm, Annie Proulx, and Debbie Macomber. The basket is located in the East Hall. Remember, you do not have to check these books out - just take, read and share with a friend.

Prayer Shawl Ministry - Marty Jacobson will be organizing a group in September to knit or crochet prayer shawls or make knotted blankets for people who are hospitalized. More information will be available in the Sunday bulletin.

Walking Architectural Tour of Chicago - The women expressed interest in Kathy Carrier's suggestion of a walking architectural tour of Chicago under the guidance of her cousin, who is a certified docent. This will take place sometime in the fall and will be open to all adult members of the congregation .

Our next meeting will be Sunday, September 19th, between services.

 ALL WOMEN ARE INVITED
